Terms & Conditions of Acupuncture Treatments
Please take the time to read through these terms and conditions, which are applicable upon booking with me, Andrea Dewhurst at The Period Acupuncturist for your acupuncture sessions.

I understand that the duration of therapy predicted by my acupuncturist is an estimate and it may take longer than initially planned.

I understand that whilst my acupuncturist has predicted the results based on previous experience, there are no guarantees of the outcome of acupuncture.

I understand that acupuncture is a collaborative process and that to get the most out of my sessions I need to engage in the therapy both in and out of sessions.

I understand that like any medicine, acupuncture can have side effects (these are highlighted in your introductory email)

Andrea Dewhurst at The Period Acupuncturist has the right to cancel a session immediately if a client shows signs of inappropriate, aggressive or sexual behaviour or is under the influence of alcohol or drugs on arrival.

To secure an individual acupuncture appointment, you will agree to pay a 50% deposit at least 48 hours prior to the treatment time. The remaining 50% can be paid at the end of your appointment by cash or card. If paying for a package of treatments, the full 100% payment is required 48 hours before your first appointment.

If you can no longer attend an appointment, then 24 hours’ notice is required. For anything less than this then full payment will be taken
